RBI Assistant Result 2023: The Reserve Bank of India is all set to release the RBI Assistant Exam 2023 Result soon, as per multiple media reports. The official website – https://rbi.org.in/ – is expected to host the result in the first week of December 2023. The roll numbers of candidates who have successfully passed the Online Examination will be published on the Bank’s website.
Following the publication of the RBI Assistant prelims results, the Bank will subsequently issue admit cards for the main examination.Successful candidates from the preliminary examination will be eligible to download the admit card for the RBI Assistant Mains examination. The RBI Assistant examination, held on November 18 and 19, witnessed candidates vying for 450 vacancies. The examination comprises three objective tests: English Language (30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes), Numerical Ability (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes), and Reasoning Ability (35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes). The total marks for all three tests sum up to 100, with a cumulative time duration of 60 minutes.

The anticipated cut-off scores for the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2023 have been approximated based on category. For the General category, the expected cut-off lies between 85 and 89, while for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), it is estimated to be in the range of 82-86. Similarly, for Other Backward Classes (OBC), the projected cut-off is between 82 and 87, while for Scheduled Castes (SC), it falls with in 78-82. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination must undergo a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT will be conducted in the Official/Local Language(s) of the respective State. Candidates lacking proficiency in the Official/Local Language will face disqualification.
A candidate must qualify in the Preliminary Examination to be eligible to appear in the Main Examination. Incorrect answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main) will incur negative marks. One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
A sufficient number of candidates in each category, as determined by the Bank, will be shortlisted from the Preliminary (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability) and Main examinations (approximately 02 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability). This shortlisting will be done from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.
If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be equated across sessions to account for variations in the difficulty level of different test batteries. The ‘corrected scores’ obtained by candidates in different sessions, if held, will be normalized using the equipercentile method, following IBPS’ standard practice.
